When I painted this scene, I imagined a curious little mouse named Karter discovering an old swing tucked away in a hidden grove. The mouse, with its big pink ears and long tail, couldn’t resist the temptation to hop on and see what it felt like to soar through the air.

The soft green and yellow hues in the background represent the gentle rustling of leaves and the warm sunlight filtering through the trees. As Karter grips the ropes and looks forward, there’s a sense of adventure and wonder in his eyes. It’s as if he's imagining all the places he could visit and how fun it would be.
